NetOmniaTM Performance Assurance is a comprehensive, configurable, automated solution that provides network performance analysis and visualization of any metric from the monitored infrastructure. With Performance Assurance service providers avoid potential hard faults through early detection, as well as monitor the key performance indicators and their impact on the business and SLAs.

The key elements of Performance Assurance are:
METRIC COLLECTOR
The Metric Collector enables the operations staff to collect performance and availability metrics from any monitored object at a pre-defined collection interval, derive new metrics based on business requirement and define where and how the metrics are presented. The configuration is done by using our intuitive web 2.0 user interface, making the deployment process very easy, even in a large collection environment.
The collection can be distributed to separate mediation servers to provide scalability and resiliency to the collection architecture. Once the metrics are defined the aggregation and roll up of the metrics is done automatically and can later be used by Reports and Analytics to present the data to the business users.
THRESHOLDS
Threshold Manager enables flexible user defined thresholds, alerting and notification of events based on configurable parameters. NetOmniaTM supports:
- Minimum and Maximum Thresholds
- Time-based Thresholds
- Threshold Violation Alarms
- Threshold Violation-triggered Workflow Automation
ANALYTICS
Analytics offers several tools to analyze and present the data based on the context and need of the business user. The out-of-the-box dashboards can be customized for object, node and service-based views to enable consolidated views of relevant performance data and to visualize threshold violations.
NetOmniaTM Configurable Dashboards offer the ultimate flexibility to track relevant metrics, events, topology and external web sources all in one web page based on the needs of the business user.
REPORTS
Reports are a key component of Performance Assurance. The operations staff can define a variety of reports including:

Any of the reports can be generated on-demand or on a scheduled basis and delivered via email. The administrator can define access privileges for reports providing customized access to users and groups.
